Meet Northstar Construction Services

We are Commercial Builders fueled by Faith. We are a group of Resourceful, Solution Driven and Results oriented construction professionals. The goal of NCS is to deliver outstanding client satisfaction.

We practice our Core Values in our work, giving our clients a unique experience of CARE and dedication. We are committed to achieving sustained GROWTH that enables us to provide enhanced value to clients and industry partners, and opportunities for our people.

Partnering with Northstar means receiving the highest quality service with exceptional results.

There are several words that can describe the beginnings and formation of Northstar Construction Services (NCS). The most impactful are the "random", God ordained encounters that brought the founders together and continue to happen regularly. John and Paul, both native Houstonians, met at the airport in Nashville and then crossed paths again through introduction in Houston. This was the beginning of their partnership.

Years later, they attended a conference in Lubbock, TX called Kingdom At Work. It was here, they felt led to form Northstar, where Jesus, the True North Star, is the compass that guides their decisions, beliefs and heart.

Our passion for real estate, development and construction is fueled by our desire to honor God and love people. We are always a work in progress. Our team, culture and values are the foundation and pillars for our success. We CARE about the outcome, our customers, team, trade partners, vendors and the community. We continue to GROW in every area, project and client diversity, personally, professionally and spiritually. We strive for EXCELLENCE, to be and do our very best. We are UNITED, in purpose, vision, mission, goals and standards.

Founded by Faith. Led by God. Love People.

Our Story

At Northstar Construction, our values guide everything we do.

CARING means we show kindness and concern for others, be it our customers, co-workers, or community.

We pursue EXCELLENCE by doing our best and always aiming for improvement.

GROWTH is about continuous learning and adapting to new ideas.

Finally, UNITY is the strength we find in working together towards common goals. These values are not just words – they define how we approach every project.

What We Value

CARING

Romans 12:9-10

Someone that shows kindness and concern for others or something

We have a culture of caring, we care for others, our customers, our co-workers, our vendors, our community, our impact and the world around us. We care about the quality of our work and the impact it has on others. We care about what God cares about and we care for ourselves. Caring requires humility, which is demonstrated by a gentleness and graciousness in our dealings with others as we exhibit patience, empathy and understanding.

EXCELLENCE

Colossians 3:23

Excellence means greatness – the very best

While this is an overused buzzword in business, it is unfortunately rare to run across an organization that is truly excellent. Excellence is not to be confused with perfection, but refers to doing the best we can with the gifts, talents and abilities God gives us. It’s about being all-in, committing to continual improvement on every front, and never being satisfied with “good enough” if better is possible. Giving it your very best!

GROWTH

I Chronicles 4:10

A stage or condition that is increasing, developing and maturing

Life is a journey. We’ll embrace this fact, learn from our experiences, and commit to seeking progress and maturity. We will commit to constant improvement. We’re constantly working on new ideas and ways to improve the process. This requires flexibility and a willingness to adapt. We acknowledge feedback and accountability are not things to be avoided, but are indispensable to growth and are healthy at every level of the organization. We commit to graciously receiving feedback, and to provide honest feedback in love. As we are faithful to what has been entrusted to us, we desire to be given greater territory.

UNITY

II Corinthians 13:11

To come or bring together for a common purpose or action – oneness.

Our team is United and Teamwork is a natural byproduct. We have a bond, like a family, no matter what – good or bad. We purpose to submit to and honor one another in humility. We talk to each other – not about each other. Does NOT mean uniformity, but instead appreciating and celebrating our differences. In Nascar, they "swap paint" and we do the same. We are willing to share our point, disagree and commit to the best and final decision. We seek to understand one another’s perspective – not prove that ours is right. Teamwork makes the dream work.
